Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc is an
international manufacturer with 38 production facilities throughout
the Americas. The Nashville, Tennessee-based company was formed
in 1990 when Bridgestone U.S.A. merged with The Firestone Tyre
& Rubber Company. We are the largest subsidiary of Bridgestone
Corporation based in Tokyo, Japan.
Bridgestone Americas sells tyres for passenger,
light truck, truck, bus, construction, mining, agricultural, motorcycle
and kart applications through more than 12,000 outlets.
Their network of independent dealers,
company-owned stores, discount stores and warehouse clubs combine
to offer their quality products throughout the Americas.
While they are known for their
tyres, Bridgestone Americas also manufactures and markets a variety
of other rubber products, including building and industrial products,
synthetic polymers and fibers and textiles.
History
