Company Profile
At Toyo they are uncompromising in their pursuit
of excellence. That's why Toyo is one of the world's leading tyre
producers, selling products in 80 countries. So when you buy a
Toyo tyre, you do so with the utmost confidence that you're buying
the best.
Each year their Japanese parent, Toyo Tyre and
Rubber Company, invests around £57 million in research and
development. They use only the very latest tyre design, engineering
and technology.
They have even developed their own dedicated,
and highly sophisticated, design software - Dynamic Simulation
Optimised Contact II, or DSOC II as they prefer to call it. This
allows them to create advanced tyre designs in 'virtual reality',
which speeds up the development process and produces tyres that
are both dynamically brilliant and easy on your pocket.
They believe that human input is crucial to the
development of their tyres, too, which is why they not only have
two comprehensively equipped Tyre Proving Grounds in Japan, where
their highly skilled test engineers can push tyres to the limit,
but also conduct extensive 'real world' testing in Germany and
the US.
Their aim, always, is to produce high quality
tyres that offer you outstanding roadholding in the dry or wet,
feel secure and stable in all conditions and at all speeds, make
the minimum amount of noise and give you the maximum amount of
life.
